This master program provides significant benefits and advantages for the students:
- Environmental protection and Climate Change are representing some of the biggest challenges for the human society, with multiple ramifications and implications on the socio-economic system, in which the need for specialist in these fields is rapidly increasing;
- Through the diverse courses (from environment protection to climate change and from the dynamics of Earth’s interior to Astronomy) the master program provides a large scientific perspective on Earth’s Sciences and opens many paths in Earth Sciences, with various employment possibilities, in research institutions and companies;
- The courses are designed to be accessible to students with different bachelor’s degrees (in Natural Sciences and in Social Sciences);
- It facilitates access to course on the Earth system organized in the frame of the CIVIS alliance of 11 European universities;
- Provides support for research stages in partner research and administrative institutions, in Romania and other countries in the European Union (e.g. Germany);
- Provides individual counseling and mentoring for a career in science;
- Provides support for applications for research stages in Germany, funded by: Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt, Deutscher Akademischer AustauchDienst, Humboldt Foundation, CIVIS alliance;
- Offers flexibility in scheduling the courses.
